Frequently Asked Questions
Where did the name VALIDATE come from?
Dates are at the heart of every one of our gels - hence the name ValiDATE. Dates provide a natural source of carbohydrates for energy, along with potassium to support electrolyte balance during hard efforts.
Do the gels contain added sugars?
No! All of the sweetness in our gels comes naturally from fruit. No added sugars are needed.
Are the fruit purees and juices in Validate gels “from concentrate”?
No! “From concentrate” means the fruit has undergone additional processing, including removal and later re-addition of water. We use single-strength and NFC (Not From Concentrate) fruit purees and juices because they stay closer to their original form - and that fits our belief that less processing matters.
Can I eat a Validate gel when I’m not training?
Absolutely! Toss one in your bag for a quick healthy snack, grab one between meals, or eat one simply because it tastes good. Built for endurance, but good anytime!
Why does every Validate gel contain salt?
When you sweat, you lose sodium. During prolonged exercise, replacing sodium can be an important part of maintaining hydration - which is why every Validate gel includes a purposeful amount of salt.
